Librarian Dena Rebozo will demonstrate how best to identify potential funding partners using the Foundation Center database Foundation Directory Online. Learn to mine this veritable clearinghouse of over 100,000 grantmakers. Get key facts on foundations, corporations, and grantmaking public charities. Use convenient indexes to quickly locate your best leads and broaden your prospects. This workshop concludes with individual work time. A limited number of library laptop computers will be available. Participants are welcome to bring & use their own.

Basic Gardening & Sick Plant Clinic
Master Gardener Karen Stauderman, the Urban/Residential Horticulture Extension Agent for Volusia County will present "Basic Gardening and Sick Plant Clinic." Karen is the News-Journal's "Plant Lady" and host for Gardener's Hotline (QCSC-PBS Channel 15), a live gardening call-in show.
This one-hour program will follow with a Sick Plant Clinic. Bring in your sick plant for a diagnosis!

New York Times best-selling author Tim Dorsey will discuss his newest Serge Storms novel, "Pineapple Grenade."

Mr. Bill Budzinski, owner/proprietor of the Elusive Grape in downtown DeLand will be sharing his knowledge and stories from his experiences in the "Wonderful World of Wine".
Over the years, Mr. Budzinski has served as a food and beverage manager for a major hotel chain, opened and operated several restaurants in the area and currently serves as host of what many call the Living Room of DeLand.
